NIPSCO online bill pay is an online service that allows NiSource customers to pay gas and power bills. There is no charge for using this electronic payment service. In addition, users register for free online.
NIPSCO offers different tools for customers to choose payment plans and payment options. Its ZapCheck services allow automatic payment of bills via bank accounts, eliminating paperwork. As of 2015, there is a $10,000 limit per transaction for electronic check payments and a $750 limit for credit card and debit card payments. There is also a limit of five transactions within 30 days. NIPSCO uses a third-party service, Bill Matrix, to complete credit card, debit card and electronic payments.
