Make a Capital One credit card payment by paying online, mailing a check or money order, or calling Capital One, according to the company as of 2015. You can also enroll in automatic payments.
To pay online, select a bank account from which to pay, and click on Make a One-Time Payment from the Payments menu in your account, says Capital One. Pick the credit card account you are paying toward and the payment date. You can also set up three payments at a time.
Even if you have an online account, you can still mail payments, states Capital One. Include the payment coupon in the envelope that came with the printed statement. Make the check or money order payable to Capital One; write the account number on the check or money order as well. If you fail to include the payment coupon, the payment may not post to your account on the day Capital One receives it.
To pay via phone, call 1-800-227-4825 for a personal account or 1-800-867-0904 for a small business account, says Capital One. You must set up online servicing before enrolling in automatic monthly payments. After enrollment, Capital One withdraws payment amounts on the due date every month. If Capital One does not receive the monthly minimum payment on time, it charges a past-due fee.
