For a Wells Fargo personal check, the account number is listed just to the right of the routing transit number on the bottom left of the check. For a business check, the account number is the third set of numbers listed, explains Wells Fargo. The account number on the account statement lies to the left of the dates and the page number. Users can sign on to view account statements online to access the statements.
The account number on the bottom of a Chase check is always listed to the right of the routing transit number, but it may be listed before or after the check number, notes Chase. On Chase account statements, the number is listed in the top right corner under the date. To find a Bank of America account number, sign in to online banking before choosing your account, and click Information & Services, explains Bank of America. Choose the Show link by Account Number under Account Details.
