There are some holidays that FedEx delivers as if it was any normal business day. There are a total of five national holidays that FedEx offers normal delivery services. These holidays are Martin Luther King Jr. Day, President’s Day, Good Friday, Columbus Day and Veterans Day.
FedEx is closed on major holidays such as Christmas Day, Thanksgiving, Labor Day and Independence Day. The company does have modified hours on days surrounding these holidays, specifically the days surrounding Christmas. During the Christmas season, FedEx often delivers later in the day for residential deliveries. Local FedEx stores may also have extended hours around holidays.
