What Are the Eligible Zip Codes for USDA Loans?
The United States Department of Agriculture, or USDA, provides loans to homeowners and business owners in rural areas. Eligibility is based on the property address. To determine eligibility, enter the property address on the Rural Housing Eligibility web page. A dialogue box will indicate the property’s eligibility.
USDA Rural Development Guaranteed Housing Loans can be used to purchase, build and renovate a home, and 100% financing is available. Borrower’s must be credit worthy and meet income restrictions based on the county where the property is located. Applicants may have an income of up to 115% of the median in the county.
