The Postmaster General is the executive head of the U.S. Postal Service and is tasked with the oversight and operation of the organization. The office of the Postmaster General can be reached by calling 1-800-ASK-USPS or by e-mail through USPS.com.
While there is no direct line to the Postmaster General that is available to the public, as of 2014, the hours listed by the United States Government for the office of the Postmaster General are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Eastern Time. The office is not available during federal holidays.
