Dr. Pepper is manufactured by the Dr. Pepper Snapple Group as of 2014. The Dr. Pepper Snapple Group also produces 7-UP, Snapple products, Mott’s, Canada Dry, A&W Root Beer, Orange Crush, Sunkist, Deja Blue Water and flavored products of Dr. Pepper throughout North America and the Caribbean.
The Dr. Pepper Snapple Group became a publicly traded group in 2008 after it was formed by the merger of four beverage companies in 2003. The Dr. Pepper Snapple Group evolved from a combination of Cadbury Schweppes – Dr. Pepper/Seven Up, Inc., Snapple Beverage Corp., Mott’s and Bebidas Mexico. As of 2014, the company markets more than 50 brands of soft drinks, waters, teas, mixers and juices.
