Some websites where people can find providers who participate in the Civilian Health and Medical Program of the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, or CHAMPVA, include the TRICARE, Medicare and ZocDoc websites. There is not a medical providers network for the CHAMPVA program, notes the VA. However, people can use these websites to find providers who participate in the VA, health care programs and thus reduce their medical costs compared to those of nonparticipating providers.
There is a list of medical providers who don't work with patients who have CHAMPVA, warns the VA. This list is updated monthly and is available on the website for the Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Inspector General.
