Become a model for the Lane Bryant catalog by pursuing a modeling career and contacting the agencies from which Lane Bryant hires its models for its advertising materials. The modeling agencies it uses most often are Ford Models and Wilhelmina Models.
Ford Models accepts submissions for models on its website. Apply using the online application form which asks for information including height, weight, body measurement, hair and eye color, and shoe size. A short section also asks you to tell something about yourself, including why you want to be a Ford model. Photos are also required, taken with no makeup and wearing form-fitting clothing. A video submission is optional. Wilhelmina Models has an online submission form similar to that of Ford Models.
In 2013, Lane Bryant held an open call for models for Full Figure Fashion Week. The casting sessions took place in Lane Bryant stores throughout the United States. Anyone was allowed to attend the open calls provided they wore size 14 through 20 and were at least 5 feet 8 inches tall. Models were requested to bring recent pictures, to wear clothing that showed off their curves and to wear 3- to 4-inch heels. The chosen models appeared in a runway fashion show.
