What Benefits Do Kohl’s Employees Get?

The benefits that employees receive when working at Kohl’s include a merchandise discount, medical, dental and vision care, paid holidays, sick leave and vacation, life insurance, 401k savings plan, child care flex plan and employee stock ownership. Every month, each store recognizes an employee for exceptional work performance.

Kohl’s associates who have a full-time position at the store receive a comprehensive medical and dental health plan, while part-time associates have a different type of medical plan. Kohl’s corporation matches the amount of money that employees contribute to their 401k plan. In addition to eye examinations, eyeglass frames, lenses and contacts are discounted with the vision plan. After one year of employment at Kohl’s, employees become eligible for paid vacation days. In the Employee Stock Ownership Plan, Kohl’s stock is purchased by the company and placed into a trust and eligible Associates share the stock.
