To access a W-2 through the Green Employee Portal, log in to the Greenshades self-service portal provided by your employer. Once you download your W-2, carefully check it for any inaccuracies, and send the necessary corrections to HR. The system archives prior W-2s, so each employee has access to all of her W-2s in one place. The portal also provides other standard tax documents, such as the 1099-MISC, 1099-INT, 1099-DIV and 1099-PATR documents, among others.

Other documents available include pay stubs, direct deposit information, W-4s and I-9s. Employees can electronically sign any document via the Green Employee Portal. They can also make changes to current documents. If your address changes, you can fill out a new W-4 using the portal. While in the portal, you can also view pay stubs, clock in and out, and submit expense reports.

The Greenshades self-portal has a companion mobile app that allows employees and employers to access all employee and HR information from their tablets and smartphones.
