What Is AAA Dental Insurance?
The American Automobile Association offers dental insurance plans to its members in selected areas. AAA members who live in Massachusetts can enroll in the Altus Dental plan, which offers a maximum benefit of $1,000 per calendar year, according to the program’s official website. Rhode Island AAA members can enroll in the Delta Dental plan, which pays a maximum benefit of $1,200 per year with no deductibles, notes Delta. There is a fee to enroll in either plan.
Minneapolis AAA members can enroll in the SingularDental Options plan, reports Delta Dental of Minnesota. In Virginia, AAA offers no dental insurance plans, but it provides a 10 percent discount on the purchase of dental plans to new AAA members only, explains the Mid-Atlantic AAA website.
AAA is a nonprofit federation of individual clubs with more than 1,100 offices throughout the U.S. and Canada, so benefits differ depending on location. Most clubs offer auto, homeowners and life insurance, and some operate full-service insurance agencies, according to AAA. To find a local AAA auto club and view available benefits, a user can enter a ZIP Code into the Club Locator tool at AAA.com.
AAA, founded in 1902, has more than 55 million members as of 2016, reports the association. Its paying members receive a range of benefits, including roadside assistance and trip planning.
