Are There Any 24-Hour Walk-in Clinics in Calgary?

There is only one 24-hour clinic located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, the Sheldon M. Chumir Health Centre located at 1213 4 Street SW, according to visitcalgary.com. However, the Calgary area also hosts four hospitals with 24-hour emergency room coverage.
Calgary Emergency Rooms:
- Alberta Children’s Hospital, for those under 18
- Foothills Hospital
- Peter Lougheed General Hospital
- Rockyview General Hospital
There is also another urgent care clinic, South Calgary Health Centre, open from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. every day, year round. Furthermore, the Medicentres Canada Group operates nine walk-in clinics in the greater Calgary metropolitan area. Patients visiting these extended-hours clinics, which are generally open until 10 p.m., do not need an appointment to see a family physician.
