A good church letter generally begins with a greeting and spiritual exhortation about the occasion for which the letter is written. It then ends with a prayer or passage from Scripture about faith, good works or love.
Church letters can be written for every occasion. What is most-important about such letters is they communicate the spiritual heart of the church the letter is from, and therefore letters are enhanced by terse scriptural references to faith, hope and love. Keep letters to one page on good-quality paper, usually with two or three paragraphs. Lastly, be sure to include a handwritten signature from the pastor or board members.
