How Do You Use Your Samsung Fridge Warranty When the Appliance Stops Working?

To obtain warranty service for a Samsung refrigerator, it is necessary to either call the company’s service department at 1-800-726-7864 or fill out Samsung’s online service request form. It’s also necessary to show the original purchase receipt to prove the refrigerator is still under warranty.

As of 2015, Samsung offers the same limited warranty on all its 18-cubic-foot and larger capacity refrigerators, although there are different warranty terms for products purchased in the United States than for products purchased in Canada. For refrigerators purchased in the United States, Samsung offers a one-year limited parts and labor warranty on all parts, which covers any failures or defects in materials or workmanship. Samsung also offers a five-year limited parts and labor warranty covering the sealed refrigeration system parts, including the compressor, condenser, evaporator, drier and connecting tubing. For refrigerators produced in 2014 or later, Samsung also covers the digital inverter compressor with a separate 10-year parts and five-year labor warranty.

The Samsung refrigerator warranty is only valid for the original customer, and all warranty service must be performed by a Samsung authorized service center. Samsung offers in-home service in some parts of the country, but this is not guaranteed under the terms of the warranty.
