The Catholic Campaign for Human Development has a website at povertyusa.org that breaks down poverty rate by ranking, overall rate, child poverty rate, senior poverty rate and more, using 2011 data. There are a couple other United States poverty level charts by state available online for public viewing.
Wikipedia also offers a list of states ranked by their poverty rate. Though the data is more recent, it is technically considered unofficial due to the inclusion of children living in poverty. Both of the sites also allow for a breakdown of poverty by not only state, but county as well, showing which areas of a state are most affected by poverty.
