Is There Something Like a Kelley Blue Book for Mobile Homes?
Last Updated Apr 1, 2020 8:28:42 PM ET
The National Auto Dealers Association, or NADA Guides, website offers manufactured home valuations for a fee. This resource is comparable to the Kelly Blue Book. The value of a used mobile home is not calculated the same as it is for a used vehicle.
Used car values are derived from averaging the sales of many cars, while used mobile home values are represented as the depreciated replacement cost in retail dollars. Manufactured homes do not always depreciate. The value can rise or fall depending on the current market. Many financial institutions, insurance companies, dealers, investors and appraisers make use of this information.
