How Do You Shrink the Screen Display on a Computer?
Last Updated Apr 15, 2020 11:01:52 AM ET
To shrink your computer screen's display, access the Display Properties menu and adjust the screen resolution. The screen resolution determines how many pixels are displayed and how clear the image is. If your monitor is already set at the highest resolution, you cannot shrink the screen further.
To adjust screen resolution, click Start, then access the Control Panel. Navigate to the Appearance and Personalization tab, and click the Adjust Screen Resolution option. Move the slider bar up or down to adjust the resolution, wait for Windows to show the preview of the new display, and click Apply to save the changes.
