Saint Andrew Catholic Church in Newton, Pennsylvania is among the largest churches in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. As of 2015, the church counts more than 6,100 registered families among its members.
Saint Andrew Church holds Mass at 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. Monday through Friday, at 9 a.m. on Saturday and at 6:45 a.m., 7:45 a.m., 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and noon on Sunday. It also holds a special Life Teen Mass at 7 p.m. on Sunday. The Church offers confessions between 6:30 and 7 p.m. on Tuesday and between 4 and 4:45 p.m. on Saturday, or by appointment.
Families who wish to enroll their children in Saint Andrew School, or who are interested in Saint Andrew Religious Education, must contact the parish secretary to arrange enrollment. To be eligible to enroll, individuals must be registered with the parish.
The church building is located next door to The Olde Church of Saint Andrew building, which it also owns. The Olde Church was built in 1880. The Friends of the Olde Church of Saint Andrew, which formed in 1986, regularly raises money to maintain the historic building. In 2001, it oversaw a complete renovation of the structure in order to use it to host weddings and funerals.
