Sears Kenmore Elite Oasis washers can be reset by pushing the power button once or the stop button twice. The machine may need to be reset when one of the manufacturer’s assigned error codes appears on the digital display panel.

Some codes, such as “LF” and “Ld,” require the user to check hose connections before pressing the stop button to clear the display and reset the washer. Other codes, such as “dL” or “dU,” indicate lid issues. Once the lid is positioned properly, the washer can be reset by pressing the pause button. According to Sears, some Oasis washers required an electronic control board upgrade as of 2009. As of 2014, customers can contact Sears to determine if upgraded parts and installation are still being honored.
