How Do You Remove Unwanted Items From a ‘favorites’ Bar?
Move your mouse over the Favorite you want to delete and right-click. On the pop-up menu that opens, move down to the word Delete and click on it.
If you want to delete multiple items from your Favorites Bar or Favorites List, click on your Favorites Menu (it might also be called Bookmarks or represented by a Star icon) and then click on “Organize Favorites” or “Show All Bookmarks.” This opens a separate window that lets you work with multiple favorites at the same time.
To delete multiple Favorites in a row, you must click on the first Favorite you wish to delete then press and hold the Shift key on your keyboard. Put your mouse over the last Favorite you wish to delete and click on it to highlight everything between the two. Then right-click on the highlighted list and click Delete on the pop-up menu to get rid of the highlighted Favorites. You can also press the Delete key on your keyboard to get rid of them.
To delete multiple Favorites that are not all in a row, click on the first Favorite and hold the Control (Ctrl) key on your keyboard and click on each Favorite you wish to delete. Do not release your Control button until you are done selecting Favorites to delete. When you have selected everything you want to delete, right-click on the highlighted items and click Delete on the pop-up menu to get rid of the highlighted favorites. You can also press the Delete key on your keyboard to get rid of them.
