How Do You Remove Stains From a Corian Sink?

To remove stains from a Corian sink, clean the sink with soapy water and an ammonia-based cleaner, and then scrub it with Soft Scrub and a green scouring pad. For tougher stains, try using a targeted product, such as Dupont’s Stone Care Deep Cleaner for Corian.

  1. Clean the sink

DuPont, the manufacturer of Corian, recommends cleaning the sink with an ammonia-based product or any solid-surface cleaner. To remove most dirt and residue, wipe the sink with warm, soapy water and your preferred cleaning product. Rinse the sink, and wipe it dry completely.

  2. Scrub the Sink

Corian sinks, unlike counter tops, can be scrubbed with a green scouring sponge or pad. If you have persistent stains, rub the sink with the green pad and Soft Scrub. Scrub the entire surface of the sink to blend in the finish. Rinse off the cleaner, and wipe the sink dry.

  3. Use a specially formulated cleaner

If regular cleaning or scrubbing does not remove the stains, try DuPont’s Stone Care Deep Cleaner for Corian. The Deep Cleaner does not require the use of a scouring pad. Spray the product onto the sink, and let it sit according to the instructions. When finished, wash the sink with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry the sink thoroughly.
