There is no definitive evidence proving the existence of gods, deities or omniscient beings. The conviction related to the absence of proof of a god is frequently referred to as atheism.
Atheism is the general critique and denial of metaphysical beliefs in God or other related spiritual beings. It is usually distinguished from theism, which is the belief in divine beings such as gods, typically characterized by attempts to prove the existence of such beings. Atheism is similar to but importantly distinguished to agnosticism, a separate school of thinking that questions the existence of gods and deities but does not attempt to answer said question.
