It is safe to roast marshmallows using duraflame Campfire Roasting Logs. These logs can also be used to cook hot dogs and other campfire food, too.
Duraflame Campfire Roasting Logs are prepackaged logs made of renewable resources like charcoal and wood that can be used in the backyard or woods or on the beach. Duraflame promotes these logs as a more energy-friendly option for making a fire because they eliminate the need to cut down trees for firewood. These logs also burn cleaner with 60 percent less emissions than a similar amount of firewood.
In addition, these logs are said to burn more efficiently than firewood. For example, a four-piece 5-pound bundle of duraflame logs produces the same level of heat as a 24-pound bundle of firewood.
