Some popular stories about healing miracles are Jesus Christ healing a man who was paralyzed and healing a man who was born blind. Another popular story of miraculous healing is Saint Francis of Assisi curing a man of leprosy.
A paralyzed man was brought to a home where Jesus was staying. His friends carried him on a mat because he could not walk. The crowd surrounding Jesus was so dense, the friends of the paralytic could not get him in through the door, so they lowered him through a hole in the roof. When Jesus saw the man had faith in his ability to heal him, he forgave the man's sins. Others at the gathering questioned Jesus' authority to do this, so to prove his authority, Jesus told the paralyzed man to get up, take his mat and go home. Immediately, the man was able to do so.
Jesus met a man born blind. He spit in the dirt, made mud from it and rubbed it on the man's eyes. Jesus told him to wash the mud off in the Pool of Siloam. When the man did, he could see.
Similarly, Saint Francis washed a man afflicted by leprosy, and miraculously, his skin began to heal. Eventually, the man was completely cured.
