Full Answer

The greatest concentrations of Presbyterian Churches of America, according to the directory, are along the East Coast and within the Midwest, with significantly fewer locations along the West Coast and no locations in the central plains. Along with the Administrative Committee, which compiles and updates all information for the PCA Directory, the PCA offers several other committees and agencies, including the Committee on Discipleship Ministries, Mission to North America, Mission to the World, Reformed University Ministries and Ridge Haven Conference and Retreat Center.

In addition to the PCA Directory, the Presbyterian church offers an informational companion publication, known as the Book of Church Order, which includes rules of general assembly, corporate bylaws of the PCA, installation and transfer announcements, and processes and operations of the Presbyterian Standing Judicial Commission.

The PCA Directory and Book of Church Order are amended and approved at the General Assembly of the Presbytery, which occurs every June in a chosen host city with Presbytery affiliation.
