Many people do not eat enough fish to get the recommended amount of omega-3 Fatty Acids. Dr. Oz recommends taking 600 milligrams of DHA, the best form of omega-3s, which are important for heart, brain and joint health.
Women who are trying to get pregnant or who are pregnant should take a folic acid supplement of 400 to 800 micrograms, according to Dr. Oz.
