Beanie Baby and Teenie Beanie Baby prices have been declining as of 2014. The decline of prices began in 1999 as the Ty brand became less popular. Since then, it has become more difficult to sell Teenie Beanie Babies for more than the original selling price. Some black label and misprint tags are a rare exception and could sell for a higher value to a collector.
