What Do You Mix With Pineapple Rum?

Any sort of citrus or tropical flavored juice, alcohol or liqueur can be mixed with pineapple rum to make a delicious cocktail. Some of the more common mixers for pineapple rum are orange juice, cranberry juice, coconut and mango rum, orange liqueur, mango juice, Sprite or Hawaiian Punch.

The June-Go Citrus Splash, for example, uses a combination of mango and pineapple rums mixed with orange juice. Simply mix together 3/4 of an ounce of pineapple rum and 3/4 of an ounce of mango rum in a highball glass filled with ice. Fill the rest of the glass with orange juice and enjoy! The Hawaiian Death cocktail is another such drink that uses pineapple rum. Mix together 3 ounces of pineapple rum, 3 ounces of Hawaiian Punch soda and 3 ounces of 7-Up. Pour the mixture into a Collins glass filled with ice. The L.A. Sunset cocktail uses pineapple rum in combination with other mixers to add a certain physical aesthetic to the drink. Begin by mixing together 1 1/2 ounces of Jagermeister herbal liqueur, 1 1/2 ounces of amaretto almond liqueur, 1 1/2 ounces of triple sec, 1 1/2 ounces of pineapple rum and 0.15 ounces of Amaretto Di Saronno liqueur in a Collins glass. Then, carefully pour a mixture containing 5 1/2 ounces of pineapple juice and 3 1/2 ounces of full pulp orange juice into the center of the Collins glass. The pineapple and orange juice will sink to the bottom of the glass and the pulp will mix with the lower brown portions of the drink, making it look like a smoggy Los Angeles sunset.
