What Is the Meaning of a Tattoo With a Pyramid and All-Seeing Eye?

A pyramid tattoo with an all-seeing eye draws its inspiration from American currency because this symbol is found on the reverse of the Great Seal of the United States and is printed on all one-dollar notes. According to the U.S. Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, the seal was accepted by the Continental Congress in June of 1782 and contains many hidden messages with the pyramid and all-seeing eye being just one of them.

The unfinished pyramid is a symbol of strength and duration, and it's made from 13 rows of blocks with Roman numerals representing the date 1776, the year when American declared its independence. The eye at the top of the pyramid is known as the Eye of Providence or Eye of God and is an allusion to God watching over the country and showing favor to the American cause.
