There is no limit to the number of times a person may be married in the state of Arkansas. In order to marry again, however, the individual must be divorced from the previous spouse.
By law, couples in Arkansas must have a marriage license prior to a wedding ceremony. Licenses are valid for 60 days and obtained by paying the applicable fee and providing acceptable identification - a birth certificate for those under 21; a valid drivers license or state identification for individuals 21 or older.
The legal age to marry in the state is 18. However, males aged 17 and females aged 16 or 17 can legally marry with parental consent in many counties.
