How Many Chicken Wings Should Be Allocated Per Person?
Last Updated Mar 31, 2020 1:48:39 PM ET

When serving chicken wings as an appetizer, the recommended serving size is two per person, according to Better Homes and Gardens. If chicken wings are served as an entrée, the serving size ranges from five to 10 wings per person.
Serving size also depends on the type of chicken wing being served as well as the type of party being held. A casual, buffet-style arrangement requires more wings and other appetizers than a formal arrangement with several scheduled courses. To avoid running out of wings, prepare more than the recommended serving sizes, and offer several other appetizers to help balance consumption.
