Larry Bird won three NBA Championships in 1981, 1984 and 1986. He won the NBA Finals Most Valuable Player award in 1984 and 1986. He also won the NBA Most Valuable Player award in 1984, 1985 and 1986.

Bird’s nickname is Larry Legend because of all of the heroic shots he put up for the Boston Celtics in the mid-1980s. He did everything on the basketball court. His 13 seasons for the Celtics, from 1971 to 1992, were a part of the great run the Celtics had in the 1980s. In 1992, he was part of the renowned Dream Team that went on to win the gold medal in the Barcelona Olympics. He was also named one of the 50 greatest players in NBA history in 1996.
