Cooked chicken will last 2 hours without refrigeration before it should be thrown away. If the temperature is about 90 degrees Fahrenheit, cooked chicken will only last 1 hour.
Chicken should be stored for longer periods at below 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Cooked chicken will last three to four days in the refrigerator, and raw chicken will stay good for one to two days in the fridge. A whole, raw chicken can stay good in the freezer for up to a year. Raw chicken parts can be frozen for nine months. Cooked chicken can keep in the freezer for two to six months.
