Its largest and best-known affiliate is LG Electronics, which produces mobile communications, home entertainment, home appliances, air conditioning and energy units, and vehicle components.

LG Corporation is headquartered in Seoul, South Korea. Originally founded as the Goldstar Company, LG Corporation is a multinational company with hundreds of locations around the world. Much of its growth came about due to joint ventures with companies like AT&T and Siemens and acquisitions of companies like Zenith Electronics Corporation.
