According to the 2011 National Household Survey, which is the most up to date information available as of March 2015, there are 9,780 Nepalese people living in Canada. Of these 9,780 people, 7,595 are fully ethnically Nepalese and 2,190 are ethnically mixed with at least some Nepalese ancestry.
The largest concentration of relocated Nepalese within Canada live in Ontario, but there are smaller communities all throughout the country. There are support groups, such as the Nepalese Canadian Community Support, that offer support and advice for immigrants and other people of Nepalese descent who now live in Canada. The organization helps Nepalese people assimilate into Canadian lifestyle while maintaining their rich culture and history.
