Some types of items in both the online and Spring/Summer 2015 print catalogs of the Eternal Word Television Network, also known as EWTN, are books, crucifixes, multimedia, rosaries and statues. Multimedia includes CDs and DVDs. Both catalogs also feature children's items, rosaries and sacramental keepsakes.
As of May 2015, the EWTN catalogs feature many items related to the Catholic cable network's founder, Mother Angelica, a nun of the Poor Clare order, including DVDs of her reflections on the Bible, books of her advice and personal prayers, and her biography by Raymond Arroyo. Mother Angelica, whose birth name was Rita Rizzo, founded the network in 1981. She suffered a stroke in 2001 and has not regained her ability to speak. The online catalog offers many episodes on DVD of "Best of Mother Angelica Live," which contain footage aired in the years since her stroke of the nun's past interviews and 13 episodes on DVD from seasons one and two of "Mother Angelica Presents" in the early days of the network.
The online catalog also offers DVDs of many episodes of EWTN series, such as "The Journey Home," "Life on the Rock," and "Women of Grace" as well as Archbishop Fulton Sheen's "Life Is Worth Living," which ran on broadcast television from 1952 to 1957 and later aired in reruns on EWTN.
