Pentecostal televangelist Juanita Bynum was married to Evangelist Bishop Thomas Wesley Weeks, III from 2002 to 2008. The marriage ended in divorce after Weeks pleaded guilty to aggravated assault charges for beating Bynum in 2007.
Weeks was born in Boston, Massachusetts and grew up in the states of New York, Indiana and Delaware. He has a degree in Mass Communications from the University of Delaware and a masters degree in Christian counseling from the Christian International College of Theology. He is a bishop of the Kingdom Believers International Church which he co-founded with new wife, Senior Pastor Prophetess Christina Glenn, whom he married in 2009 in a small private ceremony. This was in contrast to his lavish televised wedding with Bynum which reportedly cost $1 million.
