Jonathan Cahn was born in a Jewish family and attended the synagogue regularly before becoming an atheist at the age of 8. He became a messianic Jew at the age of 20, when he was almost killed in two non-related accidents.
Jonathan Cahn is the author of "The Harbinger," a bestselling novel published in 2012 that claims that the 9/11 attacks on the United States were a sign of divine warning. Cahn is a licensed minister and started the Hope of the World Ministries program in 1988. As of 2015, he is the president of the organization and ministers on television and radio.
