Gregg Braden is famous for writing and giving speeches about new age topics, including the theory that the magnetic polarity of the Earth is about to change, and human DNA is heavily influenced by emotions. Braden combines a science background with mystical topics to appeal to a large audience.
One of Braden's well-known beliefs is that the Earth would experience major changes around Dec. 21, 2012, when the Mesoamerican long-count calendar ended. He also authored the bestselling book "The Divine Matrix," which was the basis for the TV movie "Entanglement." The Nautilus Book Awards honored his books with five gold medals in areas related to social change, religion and cosmology.
