Some good names for a newspaper are The Juggernaut, The Messenger, The Zephyr and the Weekly Gleaner. Names of well-known newspapers include the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Chicago Sun Times and Miami Herald.
A good newspaper name should be unique and easy to remember. One should consider a name that is descriptive of the content of the paper. For example, the word "intelligencer" means a bringer of news or information. The Belleville Intelligencer and the Edwardsville Intelligencer are two examples of papers using this term. One might also consider a name that is simple and to the point, such as The Daily for a newspaper printed on a daily basis.
