According to 1 and 2 Corinthians, the gifts of the Holy Spirit are discernment, healing, interpretation of tongues, knowledge and miracles. The other gifts are wisdom, faith, gift of speaking in tongues and prophecy. The Holy Spirit is one-third of the Trinity and is interpreted by Christians to be God's active force on Earth.
The gift of discernment is mentioned in 1 Corinthians 12:10. This verse talks about how because of the Holy Spirit, Christians have the ability to distinguish between positive or negative individuals and situations. In the Christian religion, the gift of discernment allows you to recognize whether something is the work of God or Satan. The gift of healing according to Christians is granted by the Holy Spirit and gives a person the ability to remove sickness and heal the spiritually tormented.
The gift of interpretations of tongue is mentioned in 1 Corinthians and refers to the ability to understand and speak in an unknown tongue to God. The Holy Spirit also gifts Christians with knowledge. Because of this gift, Christians become well-versed in Biblical scriptures and can better relate and understand the scriptures.
The gift of miracles is mentioned in 1 Corinthians 12. In the Bible, Christians who are given this gift by the Holy Spirit have the ability to heal and cast out demons. According to Christians, wisdom is a gift that comes with fearing God, the gift of faith is believing in the unexpected and the gift of prophecy allows a Christian to teach about the word of God.
