There are two fuse boxes on the Ford Ranger: one is located under the hood, while the other is found underneath the driver side dashboard. Fuse boxes, also known as fuse panels, house all the fuses to run all the electrical components of a vehicle.
The cabin fuse panel houses the slots for the interior lights and accessories. If a problem occurs with a light, door lock switch or piece of audio, this is the first place to inspect.
The fuse box located in the engine compartment houses the fuses for the mechanical parts of the motor. When a sensor or component is not functioning, the correlating fuse is checked to see whether or not it is damaged.
