Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church started in 1990 under the direction of Bishop William Sheals, who received a vision to transform a 32 acre junkyard into a beautiful Christian complex. The church has a child care center, youth center, fitness gym and mall. It also runs an academy with capacity for up to 500 youth.
The Potter's House is a nondenominational church in Dallas, Texas. The church has over 30,000 members as of 2015. Bishop T. D. Jakes, a famous author and broadcaster, leads the community. The church consists of different people of all social classes and life situations. The community offers a large prison ministry with satellite broadcasting to more than 260 prisons across the United States.
