In 6 days, God created day and night, sky and the sea, vegetation and the land, stars, moon and the sun, sea creatures including birds and the fish, mankind and animals, and on the seventh day, God rested. This can be read from the Bible in the book of Genesis 1:1-31, and Genesis 2:1-3.
The earth was desolate and unformed, and darkness was over the earth when God commanded light to form and it there was light. After separating it from darkness, He named the light “day” and the darkness “night”. On the second day, God commanded a vault to separate water and water, and named the vault “sky.” On the third day, God commanded the water under the sky to be gathered in one place, and create a dry ground. He named the gathered water “sea” and the dry ground “land”. He then commanded the land to produce vegetation.
On the fourth day, God created the moon to give light during the night, and the sun to give light during the day. He also created the stars and put them in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth. On the fifth day, God created all the sea creatures and the birds, and He blessed them. On the sixth day, God created all types of animals and made mankind in His own image and likeness. On the seventh day, He rested from all the work of creation He had done.
