Infiniti is the luxury brand of Nissan automotive group. Infiniti, like Acura and Lexus, share engines, chassis designs and features from its parent company, but offers its consumers more high-end vehicles in regards to performance and convenience.
Infiniti began as a North American subdivision in 1989. It later expanded to include more than 15 countries and, in 2013, was finally introduced into the Japanese auto market. Each of the vehicles included in the Infiniti lineup have direct equivalents featured in the Japanese market. One example is the crowd favorite Nissan Skyline, which is remodeled as the Nissan G-series sedan in America. In 2012 Infiniti relocated to Hong Kong under the new guise as Infiniti Global Limited.
