Each Catholic church chooses its own mass times, but many offer several masses throughout the morning at times about two hours apart from each other. For example, Seven Holy Founders in St. Louis, Missouri, offers Sunday mass at 7:00 a.m., 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., as of 2015.
Some Catholic parishes also offer a later afternoon or early evening mass on Sunday. St. George in St. Louis, Missouri, offers a 4:00 p.m. mass, while the Our Lady of Providence church in the same city offers a mass at 5:30 p.m. Some churches, such as Transfiguration in New York, New York, offer masses in different languages at different times. For example, the church offers a mass in Mandarin at 9:00 a.m. and a mass in Cantonese at 10:15 a.m.
