The possible causes of involuntary finger twitching include peripheral neuropathy, carpal tunnel syndrome and a benign essential tremor, according to WebMD. A vitamin B-12 deficiency, low blood sugar and panic attacks can also cause involuntary twitching of the fingers.
Chronic disorders such as epilepsy and multiple sclerosis and spinal conditions such as cervical spinal stenosis can cause fingers to involuntarily twitch, explains WebMD.
