Ken Birks' site offers many outlines in both PDF and Microsoft Word format. Selected outlines are available in the WMA or MP3 audio formats. The outlines are organized by themes, such as Pursuing Love, Characteristics of True Christianity, Prayer Messages, and the Parables of Jesus.

The outlines are very thorough, typically providing introductory remarks, examples to include, relevant Bible passages, and simple interpretations of those passages that tie into the outline. The outlines are also visual, often incorporating illustrations that can be integrated into a Powerpoint presentation or printed and distributed to members of the congregation.

Sermon Search offers outlines in addition to sermon topics, illustrations, videos and preaching tips. By clicking on Sermon Outlines, a user is taken to a list of the latest outlines that have been added. She can click on More Sermons at the bottom of the page to browse available sermons, or use the Search Sermon Outlines feature on the right side of the page. When a user clicks on an outline, she is taken to a brief preview of its contents. For the full version, the user must add the outline to her cart and check out, allowing her to download the full version. A user may also register for a free 30-day trial to become a member of the site, which offers free sermon outlines and illustrations.
