Many verses throughout the Bible directly concern pastor appreciation, such as Hebrews 13:17, 2 Timothy 5:17, and 1 Thessalonians 5:12-13. Though not written specifically for pastors, Isaiah 52:7 can also be applied to pastor appreciation.
Hebrews 13:17, 2 Timothy 5:17, and 1 Thessalonians 5:12-13 emphasize how pastors should be given honor because they have such a great responsibility to preach the Gospel and to shepherd their congregations well. Pastors are to be appreciated because of the work and sacrifice they make to lovingly serve the church and the community. In turn, they are held accountable to God for the people they shepherd. Isaiah 52:7 is a verse that gives honor to anyone who preaches the good news, and is a great verse for pastor appreciation.
